Water and stars

These 3 photos were taken from Kash's camera last week when we decided to experiment with two ultra low light scenario's. One being his bathroom with an ultra fast shutter speed to capture the motion of water and the only light we had access to being a flood light. It worked alright but a bit of editing to add light never hurt anybody. Next time I suggest we use a sort of tissue paper over the light to try and avoid having any harsh reflections. The other challenge i'd set for us was the night sky. Since it was incredibly dark and we'd already maxed out our shutter timer we decided to tweek the ISO. This in the higher settings and especially at night made the photo a tad grainy. With the help of Photoshop I've bumped contrast to bring attention to the stars and hide the grain on the black. Its still not perfect but it certainly looks nicer than the raw file.

Another learning experience.
